    2. Drag, select, or upload one or two reference styles
    3. Optionally set the Style Strength, then create

    Voices

    Sings a new song in a voice from Udio's Voices library or your earlier songs; full controls need a subscription.

    Use it for: Keeping one singer's voice across several songs.

    How to start

    1. Select Playground in the lefthand menu
    2. Choose a Voice and Style pairing, or click the Dice icon
    3. Describe the lyrics and click CREATE
    4. Subscribers: in Create, toggle on Voice Control and drag in a voice

    Sessions

    Timeline view for extending or replacing sections of your song, saving takes and undoing edits.

    Use it for: Rewriting one weak section without regenerating the whole song.

    How to start

    1. Start a session from your library or from a song page
    2. Use Extend mode to add an intro, section or outro
    3. Use Replace mode to highlight part of the waveform and click Replace

  4. 04

    Edit

    Regenerates a highlighted section's music or changes chosen lyric lines while keeping the rest of the song.

    Use it for: Fixing a wrong lyric line in an otherwise finished song.

    How to start

    1. Go to your Library and select a song
    2. Click Edit to open the editor
    3. Choose Replace Section or Edit Lyrics and highlight the part
    4. Click Edit to apply the changes
